The polling organization, Gallup, reports today that in the history of their polling, President Trump has finally achieved something as president: the lowest approval rating they have ever measured for a US president during his first 100 days, at a 41% approval rating.

All other US presidents since 1953, when Gallup began taking polls on approval ratings, remained above the 50% mark at 10 months after taking office.

According to Gallup, Mr Trump hit a low of 35% in the wake of his failure to repeal and replace the Obamacare health care legislation due to lack of Republican support. It was a core campaign promise of his in 2016.

He was at his highest marks right after his January inauguration, at 46%.

At least now, Trump can claim a ‘first’ when it comes to his achievements during his first 100 days as president.

Well done, sir.
