With the crisis surrounding President Trump–one so serious it looks as though Trump may be impeached or resign before that happens–the obvious question is: Who will become President of the United States if Trump goes?

The chain of succession, of course, is that the Vice President, in this case Mike Pence, becomes president if the president is removed. Unfortunately for Pence, there are growing indications that he may be connected to the Mike Flynn ‘situation,’ and may have known that Mike Flynn was a danger to the safety of Americans because of his international relationships.

So if Pence is also removed, then the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, will become the next president.

My personal opinion is that Ryan would be the least of the three ‘evils.’
