There are over 300 million people in the U.S., and so it is simply a mathematical reality that in such a huge population, there are going to be people of all Stars and Stripes. People who sleep with kids, people who steal from their parents, people who kill other people for fun. You name it, it is out there.
So the fact that a liar and abuser of woman who has questionable relationships with some of our biggest enemies may think he should be our president is not at all surprising. What is surprising, is that there were enough Americans who thought such a person should be our president.
There is a reason corporations only hire a CEO, or even a Vice President, after multiple interviews, background checks, even psychological examinations that have shown the candidate to be fit for the job. But when elected a president, we simply rely of the feelings and thoughts of our massive population.
How is it that so many Americans thought such a horrendous candidate should become our president and just what does it say about our society? I don’t know about you, but I am not ‘liking’ the answer to that question.
