OK, so let’s just think about this for a moment: Donald J. Trump, Republican nominee for president, who got there in the first place by denouncing Mexico, Mexicans, and anyone who crosses the U.S.-Mexican border on their way to the U.S., is now backing off from his demand that he will make Mexico pay for a U.S. wall along the border of Mexico.
He infamously called Mexicans ‘rapists,’ ‘drug dealers,’ and has said ‘I assume some are good people.’ This same man made a surprise trip to Mexico today, presumably to tell the president of the country that if he is elected President of the United States–God forbid–he will ‘build a wall’ along the U.S.-American border and ‘make Mexico pay for that wall.’
But wait, when asked about what he discussed with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, he responded by saying they didn’t discuss who would pay for the wall–which would cost the U.S. taxpayers at least $25 billion. What?! Really?!
Let’s refresh and look at one of many videos of Trump making it clear he is going to make Mexico pay for that ‘wall.’
Oh yes, how surprising that Donald Trump, a man who couldn’t even build a successful ‘house of cards’ when the odds are in his favor, also can’t call his own bluff for the very deal that got him into the game in the first place.
