Wow, what a week it has been. Donald J. Trump, Republican nominee for president, has thrown himself right into a concrete wall because, well, he just can’t help himself. Because of his lust for women and his inability to control it, or himself, now says he has a 15% chance of becoming President of the United States.

First, let me just say ‘phew,’ but second, it’s not over until we all vote, so let’s remember that.

But a weird twist to this train wreck of a candidate is that he has actually done something good for the country. Donald Trump has, unwittingly, brought the important topic of male abuse of women to the forefront. The idea that a woman who has been violated by a man, even more so by a powerful man, feels ashamed and afraid to talk about it may start to fade into the distance thanks to Trump’s indiscretions.

When it comes to women getting fair treatment in America, you can’t do much better than focusing on the way men have used them and Trump just did this, and as an added bonus, he just elected the first female President of the United States, Madam President, Hillary Clinton.
