Trumped signed a pledge to be loyal to the Republican party just over a year ago. Here is what he said after doing so, according to CNN:
“The best way for the Republicans to win is if I win the nomination and go directly against whoever they happen to put up. And for that reason, I have signed the pledge,” Trump said, holding up the paper. “So I will be totally pledging my allegiance to the Republican Party and for the conservative principles for which it stands.”
It’s not surprising, with a man like Trump, that he would, once again break his promise, but this time, he really betrayed those who elevated him to be the Republican nominee for President of the United States. Trump’s promises, including this monumental one, are as worthless as the paper he held up to show how he really cannot be believed.
The Republican party he promised to be loyal to, has now been tossed in the trash by Trump, along with that piece of paper he so carelessly waived in the air.
