I certainly wouldn’t have thought it a year ago, but now, it seems clear that Paul Ryan, Republican and majority leader of the House, and Hillary Clinton – who is poised to become the next President of the United States – will actually work together to break this eight-year lockdown of Congress.

To become the first female President of the United States takes work in itself. You have to work harder, smarter, longer than any male has to. With that understanding comes a level of empathy and realization that you need to keep working as hard as you always have.

Enter Paul Ryan, a house leader who realizes, I believe, that this eight-year standoff of America’s government, led by loser Mitch McConnell, must end if America wants to keep being great. Motivations aside, we will likely have two very driven, very smart leaders who realize America is only great if they are too.
