Perhaps because he has his own personal jet, Donald Trump doesn’t seem to care about the upgrades currently in progress for the official fleet of presidential planes, that includes Air Force One.
Air Force One has always been the most secure airplane in the world, because, after all, it is the method of long-range travel used by the most powerful–and most threatened–person in the world, the President of the United States. If, for example, China gets angry enough at the president to launch a missile at his plane, this particular plane has incredly super powers that could deflect such an attack.
But Trump has decided to complain about the high cost of his ‘protection’ and I think the best thing for Americans to do is save a few bucks and let Trump have his wish to ride the sky in danger. After all, what the heck do we have to lose?
