Karen Carpenter was known for taking the high road, even when that road was full of pot holes, because she knew that the only way to get through all that trouble was to keep driving. Today, I was reminded of Karen’s can-do attitude, when my best friend played ‘Top of the World’ as he reminisced about the good old days, when people didn’t make fun of other people just for being people.
