As the mayor of Miami Beach, Philip Levine just became the most important mayor in the United States. His city is sinking under water while President Trump has today declared the global climate agreement unimportant to the United States.

I lived in Miami for years, and I can tell you first-hand that when it rains in Miami, it more than pours. In fact after just 30 minutes of rain, cars are covered in water. I mean covered over the roof.

Philip is in a unique position right now, because only he can tell the president he is wrong and he either needs to change his position or be replaced, so that the people of Miami can live without the fear of drowning.
