Whatever one wants to say about Trump’s tweets, and a lot is being said about them, one thing is for certain: Trump’s tweets are the direct words from the president, and therefore represent official policy of the executive branch, the presidency.

That is why Trump’s latest tweet is so disturbing, because it is one of the few that actually refers to official U.S. policy:

So now, Trump, who seems to realize the Senate can’t get a healthcare bill passed, just wants to dump the whole thing together by taking away Obamacare and not really caring what happens to the tens of millions of Americans who need it to live?
