Growing up, I was taught about how America came to be, about how our country was born from a desire of people who felt oppressed and decided they were not having it and they would rise up and show how powerful the people as a group can be.

I am sure you are aware of the Boston Tea Party. That event was America being America.

Now, we seem to have slipped into a state of nervousness and inaction. But we don’t have to stay there. We, as the people of the United States, have more power as a united group that any single dictator or country could ever have.

We need to unite and decide what we really stand for, and then we need to act on our common goals.
