AMERICA WANTS TO KEEP PEOPLE OUT, RATHER THAN BRING GOOD PEOPLE IN
Simple question, right? Shouldn’t be hard to answer, right? It’s a ‘given,’ right?
Well, apparently, the answer to that question is not as obvious as you may think.
I, for example, always thought America stood for some basic ideas: All people are created equal and therefore all people deserve equal treatment. Also, I was taught to believe that we all have a responsibility to tell the truth and to treat our fellow humans with the same level of respect with which we wish to be treated.
But those are old ideas and do not reflect the current state of The United States of America.
America is now about money, greed, power, how-can-I-screw-everyone else kind of thinking. That doesn’t work in a successful Democracy. So what do we really want? Do we want to be Donald Trump’s slimy and greedy America, or do we want something much better?
America must move forward in a fashion that will celebrate Democracy and embrace all opinions, religions and beliefs.
Decision time is here and now is the time to decide.
