Do American Presidents Have Too Much Power? Trump Certainly Does.

Impeach or not to impeach? There are way too many questions right now about whether or not Trump should be impeached. Of course he should: Trump has been using his incredible power to enrich himself, his family and to stave away the legal forces that may very well take him down.

But this all begs the question: Should we really give our presidents that much power?

If you answer ‘yes,’ you need to be honest with yourself – because we have all heard on both sides that the president has too much power, it’s just that when one’s personal preference for president uses it, we find it OK.

I think it is time for Americans to re-think how much power we want our president to have, because if we reduce that amount of power, perhaps we can find a common ground when it comes to the way we want our country to be managed.
