Republicans, like I used to be, think ‘cancel culture’ is a cute little slogan that means we don’t have free speech in America. Oh, we have free speech alright, and that is always at the heart of a ‘boycott,’ which is the whole point of ‘cancelling’ an organization that holds beliefs you disagree with whole-heartedly.
That’s why when enough of our population feels an organization, retail company or our government does something we don’t agree with, we have the right to ‘cancel’ their operation.
Maybe they just think that ‘vote with your feet’ is Un-American?
Capitalism is all about ‘canceling’ businesses, etc. that we don’t want to support.
So how did Republicans stop believing in Capitalism and start believing in Socialism, which is exactly what the ‘cancel culture’ crowd is all about?
